Mr. Ali Akbar Khan, one of the prominent business tycoon, passionate entrepreneur, humanitarian and a visionary rare individual/industrialist of the country. He is the apex body of leading commercial bank and insurance company in Bangladesh. He has exposure in the line of business for more than five decades. His brilliance and business foresight has added a new dimension to the industrial revolution in Bangladesh. His contribution to industry and commerce has remained vibrant. Mr. Khan set out on his business venture and established Empire Group in 1965. The succeeding years saw his unique entrepreneurship in diverse fields. The group started their journey with Heera Jewelers that gained popularity because of the variation in design, style and pattern.
